Location is excellent, right next to the railway station and 5 minutes walk to centre of town. Room was large. Staff very friendly. This was a last minute booking (same day) and we had stayed here before so we knew what to expect.

A traditional hotel close to the old town with phantastic views across the valley to sky-high mountains. Very friendly staff, several excellent local restaurants ('grotti') down the street. Reliable daily room-service keeps the place perfectly clean. The Crimea's own eatery, Il Locale, is the top place to eat in Chiavenna in my view.
